A rant, about the game(s) I'm making

So of course Tellmain's whole thing is a learning process for me. I'm sure some of you have noticed my maps get better, as the start is lacking.  There's some inspirations, liberties, and  pop culture references (a lot of those), as well as dumb jokes and gags there. My sense of humor is all over the place, dry, dark, ranging from satirical, to just outright silly. I am actually a much better writer in my freetime. Whether it's my varied vocabulary, or my own intelligence, perhaps it's the speech and debate class I took in high school, or the creative writing class? Regardless, my earlier attempts at story have been clumsy, much clumsier than I am actually capable of, it as born out of my inexperience with the engine, and with game design. I have designed levels, for fps games, using their in game creative modes, as well as "Tony hawk's underground", if anyone remembers "timesplitters; future imperfect", or 2016's Doom, halo forge, etc, that's more my element. As far as writing goes, poetry, short stories, are more my thing, and like most furry trash on the internet, I do Rp. I have the rare talent of actually being able to rap, on the spot, I in my own ear sound "terrible", but according to others I spit "straight fire, shitin gold bars out the mouth", maybe It's because rapping never interested me, I'd rather listen to someone of actual talent, not hear myself rap, like I'm a huge Eminem fan, Cypress hill, Ice cube, etc, though I listen to mostly various forms of rock, metal, etc.

The point being, as I get more comfortable with making the game, the writing will dramatically improve.

The project itself is literally me, being dissatisfied, as a customer, with someone else's project. I'd say even as far as disenfranchised, and disgusted with what I feel is geed, a cash grab from a dev, whose previous work should some potential merit. To slap a 10$ price tag and underperform, just really grinded my gears. I literally said to myself "FUCK THAT!!! I bet I could make a better game, twice as big, for 1.99$" and so I picked up Rpg Maker MV for 11.99$ on a charity site called Humble Bundle (only for the game to go on sale for 1.99$ a week later on steam LOL), and got started. Journey through Tellmain will remain free, with optional donation only, the second game I make, will be an adult erotica that will be 3x as big as the game of a particular dev I'm not happy with, and will also be free. Then the third game I make, will be 1.99$ and a sequel to the adult erotica, it will be 3x the size of the other dev's 10$ sequel. Then I'll probably do a Sequel to Journey through Tellmain, called "Journey to Clon", I'm not sure if I'll charge anything for it. I plan to do all these projects between now 7/20/2024 and 12/20/2025. If I get done soner, cool, but I will not rush to ruin projects, that'd be unfair to you, my future fans, and possibly future customers.  I would like to keep things cheaply priced, as this stuff is a passion, but I would like to attempt to make a living doing this, game development.

I look at the creators, like the ones behind "Grover dark places", "void bound", "tail bound", and see their passion, their skill, and hope that maybe one day soon, I could be half as talented as them. I mean just look at "void bound", 219 plugins, most of which are custom. THAT'S INCREDIBLE.

I doubt I'll be doing my own plugins, I suck at coding, I have absolutely no idea where to begin when it comes to coding. I know more about warehouse, construction, demolitions, martial arts, and HVACR than I probably ever will know about coding. I'm a tinker, with an inclination towards particular self-destructive, destructive habits. Can't say I'm the friendliest person, but I have an honesty in my brutal nature, and honestly I hope to create an entire dynasty of titles for you to enjoy, and yeah, I'll throw shade at some people, compliment others, as I go. So hopefully you guys will join me on this journey, as I expand my abilities, and see just truly what I am capable of, in the realms of game development.
